## Agent Pack (published specification)
- Canonical definition: An Agent Pack is a versioned, deployable unit of agent — its prompt, its tools, its engine, and its permissions.

- Spec as plain text (Markdown; read this one): https://packs.agenthippo.ai/spec/v1.md
- Model: `spec.model: auto` means the engine's own default. A pack deployed through an AgentHippo control plane runs behind its gateway: use `ah-auto` (the gateway's router) or a model id that gateway serves.

## Tools and deployment
- CLI (`agenthippo`: pack validate/sign, serve, control register/list/bundle): `curl -fsSL https://agenthippo.ai/install.sh | bash` (installs to ~/.local/bin, no root) or `npm install -g @agenthippo-ai/agenthippo`.
- Validate a pack: `agenthippo pack validate <pack-dir>`.
- Register and deploy agents: every AgentHippo control plane serves its own guide for agents at `/llms.txt` (for example https://control.agenthippo.ai/llms.txt). Its setup bundles carry an AGENTS.md with the deployment steps.
